Chennai, 23 Feb, (City Times) : In accordance with the resolution of Gazette Notification 28 june 2021 MO CA, F & PD, Government of India, Hindi Advisory Committee Meeting of Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food And Public Distribution has been conducted at Madurai on Thursday under the Chairmanship of MoS Sadhvi Niranjan Jyoti.
MoS reviewed the progress of Implementation of Rajbhasha. Speaking on the occasion, MoS appealed for promotion of Hindi as well as giving respect to all regional languages. Minister also appreciated efforts made by the Ministry in this regard. During the meeting, agenda based on the implementation of Rajbhasha Hindi in day to day function of various offices of the Ministry, was discussed in detail. MP (Lok Sabha) Dr. (Smt) Beestti Venkata Satyavathi was present in the meeting. Rajendra Kumar, Joint Secretary, Food & Public Distribution and Dr. K. Guite, Economic Advisor, Dept. of Consumer Affairs, Dr. Alok Kumar Srivastav, Director General, Nationational Testing House, Kolkata, Sangeeta Ramrakhayani, Director (Personnel), CWC, New Delhi, Dr. Dinesh Kumar Dviwedi, Professor, Indian Institute of Legal Metrology, Ranchi, Mamta Upadhyay Lal, Addl.Director General and Ajay Kumar, Executive Director(Rajbhasha), FCI, Hqrs., New Delhi were also present in the meeting. Members of the committee included the learned non-official members of Hindi Advisory Committee, Vinay Kumar, Senior Journalist, Ranchi, Pradeep Srivastava, Associate Editor, Sanmarg, Ghaziabad and Bandopant Patil, Rastrabhasha Prachar Samiti, Vardha were also present in the meeting.
The events was successfully organized by P.Muthumaran, Genl.Manager(Region), Food Corporation of India, Tamil Nadu Region in collaboration of Central Warehousing Corporation and Bureau of Indian Standards.
