Stalin’s Bold Critique: ‘One Nation, One Election’ is BJP’s Conspiracy; This concept Is more dictatorship than democracy

Stalin’s Bold Critique: M K Stalin launched a fiery criticism of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government, labeling the ‘One Nation, One Election’ proposal as nothing but a conspiracy

Chennai,03 September(City Times): Stalin’s Bold Critique: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin launched a fiery criticism of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NDA government, labelling the ‘One Nation, One Election’ proposal as nothing but a conspiracy. In a speech delivered at a marriage ceremony, Stalin asserted that this concept was more dictatorship than democracy.

AIADMK’s Turnaround

Stalin pointed out the apparent flip-flop of AIADMK, Tamil Nadu’s former ruling party, on the ‘One Nation, One Election’ issue. Despite opposing it while in power, AIADMK now supports the proposal. Stalin suggested that AIADMK had become a pawn in this political maneuver.

Saving India’s Democracy

Drawing parallels between the recent state election and national politics, Stalin emphasized the need to safeguard India’s democracy. He underlined that, in his view, it’s not about who becomes Prime Minister or assumes power, but who should be kept away from power. He expressed his commitment to ensuring the stability of the state government and echoed the importance of saving India in the upcoming parliamentary elections.

BJP’s Concerns About INDIA Alliance

Stalin commented on the ‘INDIA alliance’ and highlighted the BJP’s apprehensions regarding it. He criticized the government’s move to involve a former president in politics and claimed that the alliance was being manipulated to favor the BJP’s agenda. Stalin asserted that the BJP’s call for an early parliamentary election was driven by their fear of opposition unity and the growing influence of the INDIA alliance.

In this passionate address, Chief Minister Stalin raised concerns about the ‘One Nation, One Election’ proposal and called for unity among opposition parties to protect India’s democratic values.
