New Delhi,17 June(City Times): Ajit Pawar, the leader of the opposition in Maharashtra and the nephew of NCP leader Sharad Pawar, has once more lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He has described the Prime Minister as a charismatic leader. Praising the PM in April too, Pawar had said – BJP with 2 MPs was able to form the government with full majority in 2014 and 2019 only because of Modi.
Pawar also praised Home Minister Amit Shah
Ajit Pawar was speaking at a state level worker’s camp in Jalgaon on Friday. He said- Narendra Modi is a charismatic leader like former Prime Minister of the country Jawaharlal Nehru and Indira Gandhi. He also praised Home Minister Amit Shah. Pawar said that this is the fact that the BJP is currently in power in the majority of the states in the country is due to these two politicians.
Pawar stated that even under Vajpayee, the BJP did not got majority
Pawar made comparisons between the BJP regime under Atal Bihari Vajpayee and the BJP regime under Narendra Modi. He said, even under the leadership of previous Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee, he claimed, the BJP did not succeded to achieve majority, but because to Modi’s efforts and charm, the party has been able to create governments at the Centre twice on its own. Today, most of the states have BJP governments as well.
The price of an officer’s transfer in Maharashtra is Fixed: Pawar
While praising Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Ajit Pawar decried corruption in the Shiv Sena-BJP alliance government of Maharashtra. According to Pawar, corruption in Eknath Shinde’s administration is at an all-time high. He Said, charge for the transfer of officers are set here. Pawar said that several ministers of state are involved in the corruption for transfer-posting of officers and the residence of personal assistant of some of these ministers have been raided by officials.
Pawar targeted Maharashtra govt. for not expanding cabinet
Pawar besieged the Shinde- Fadnavis government despite the state’s failure to expand his cabinet. He said that Out of 43 ministers, only 20 are represented in the Shinde cabinet. Each minister holds multiple posts. they are also holding additional charges for the districts and This hinders their regular work.
