New Delhi, 8 June (City Times): Parakala Vangamayi, the daughter of Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman, tied the knot with Pratik Doshi, a PMO official, on Thursday in a private ceremony in Bangalore. It has been accounted for that the wedding was gone to by dear loved ones. A few days ago, Union Finance Minister Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman married her daughter. The wedding was held in Bangaluru. According to reports, only close friends and family were invited to the intimate wedding. No political leaders were present. According to reports, the wedding was held in the presence of Udupi Adamaru Mutt in accordance with Brahmin custom.
Vangmayi, Sitharaman’s daughter, is said to have got married to Pratik Doshi, a Gujarati who works in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) under Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The private event’s video has gone viral on social media. Vangmayi was shown in videos that went viral wearing a pink saree, while Pratik was wearing a white pancha and a shawl. A bright orange blouse and a blue saree were worn by Finance Minister Sitharman.
As an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) in the PMO, Doshi is in charge of research and strategy. Doshi joined the PMO in 2014, the year that Modi became Prime Minister for the first time. In June 2019, during Modi’s second term as PM, he was promoted to the position of joint secretary. When Modi was the CM, he had also worked with him as a research assistant in the Gujarat CMO. According to the PMO’s website, he is employed in the Research and Strategy Wing. According to the PMO’s website, his duty is to provide secretarial assistance to the PM in terms of government of India (allocation of business) rules, 1961 with regards to matters such as research and strategy.
Sitharaman’s daughter Vangmayi is a highlights essayist in the Books and Culture segment of Mint Parlor’s elements division. She had also contributed to The Hindu as a features writer. She holds a Graduate degree in English from Delhi College, and a MS in News coverage from the Medill School of Reporting, Northwestern College. Interestingly, Pratik is not active on social media and is known for keeping a low profile.
