In a deeply saddening turn of events, a convoy vehicle, part of the Indian Army, veered off the road and tragically fell into a gorge. The vehicle was carrying ten brave Jawans at the time of the incident. Sadly, 9 Army Soldiers Lose Lives and one soldier injured, according to reliable sources.

Around 4:45 pm, an Army vehicle was traveling from Leh to Nyoma when the tragedy unfolded just 6 km before reaching Kiari. The vehicle, carrying ten army personnel, including the driver, lost control and plunged into a gorge, as explained in a statement by SSP Leh.
Swift Response and Efforts:
Upon receiving news of the9 Army Soldiers Lose Lives, local police responded swiftly and reached the accident site promptly. The injured soldiers were quickly taken to the army MI room for immediate medical care. Tragically, despite their heroic efforts, eight soldiers lost their lives at the scene. Another soldier, despite fighting bravely, succumbed to injuries while being transported to Leh hospital.
