New Delhi, 01 November (City Times): Financial Changes November 2023: Every month, new financial rules come into effect, impacting the common person’s life. As of November 1, 2023, several guidelines will change. It’s crucial to understand these rules that affect various aspects of daily life.

Gas price update November 2023 :

On the first day of every month, the rates for CNG, LPG, and PNG are announced and remain fixed for the entire month. Keeping an eye on these prices can help you plan your monthly budget efficiently.

E-challan for Large Companies :

The National Informatics Centre (NIC) mandates that companies with a minimum value of ₹100 crore must submit their GST challan on the e-challan portal within 30 days. This is a step towards digitizing financial processes for larger corporations.

Laptop import restrictions India :

The government imposed restrictions on the import of seven products, including laptops, PCs, and tablets under HSN 8741, effective from October 31. Importers will require a valid ‘License for Restricted Imports’ for these items until any further policy changes are announced.

Lapsed LIC Policy Reopening :

October 31 marked the last day for reopening a lapsed LIC policy. Missing this deadline means you may not have the opportunity to revive your lapsed policy.

Transaction Fees in Equity Derivative Segment :

The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) will raise transaction charges within the equity derivative segment. This decision aims to align with market dynamics and operational costs, impacting traders and investors in the equity markets.

Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) Prices:

Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation have collectively reduced ATF prices by Rs 1,074 per kilolitre. These price adjustments aim to benefit domestic airlines.

  • Mumbai: Rs 1,04,121.89 per kilolitre

Upcoming Tax Deadlines:

Tax deadline November 2023

  • November 7: Due date for depositing tax deducted/collected for October 2023.
  • November 14: Due date for issuing TDS certificates for tax deducted under various sections for September 2023.
  • November 15: Deadline for submitting quarterly TDS certificates for payments other than salary for the quarter ending September 30, 2023. It’s also the due date for furnishing Form 24G by government offices where TDS/TCS for October 2023 has been paid without a challan.
