Eminent neurologist and former director of NIMHANS, Dr. P Satishchandra, emphasized the ‘BE-FAST’ method for recognizing a stroke: Balance, Eyes, Face, Arms, Speech, and Time. He urged people to be aware of these symptoms, particularly weakness in the arm, speech difficulties, eye issues, or facial changes, and to promptly seek medical assistance.
