Legacy of Devotion:

The history of Lalbaugcha Raja is steeped in reverence and tradition. This revered Ganesh idol is the centerpiece of the Lalbaugcha Raja Sarvajanik Ganeshotsav Mandal, situated at Putlabai Chawl. The worship place has been a focal point of devotion since its founding in 1934.

Guardians of Tradition:

For over eight decades, the responsibility of nurturing and preserving the Lalbaugcha Raja Ganapati idol has rested in the capable hands of the Kambli family.

The Countdown Begins:

Ganesh Chaturthi, a ten-day festival that commences on the fourth day of the Hindu lunisolar calendar month ‘Bhadrapada,’ is set to commence on September 19 this year. This auspicious festival initiates on ‘Chaturthi’ and culminates on ‘Anantha Chaturdashi.’

A Festival of Renewal:

Ganesh Chaturthi, also known as ‘Vinayak Chaturthi’ or ‘Vinayak Chavithi,’ celebrates Lord Ganesha as the ‘God of New Beginnings’ and the ‘Remover of Obstacles.’ He is revered as the deity of wisdom and intelligence.
