RPF Chief Visits Hubballi, Focuses on Passenger Safety and Security, Inaugurated a newly constructed 12-bed RPF barrack

Hubballi, 28 August(City Times): RPF Chief Visits Hubballi: The Director-General of Railway Protection Force (RPF),Manoj Yadava IPS, paid a visit to Hubballi. During his visit, he chaired a ‘Suraksha Sammelan’ at Rail Soudha, where he discussed critical issues related to passenger safety and security. Yadava emphasized the importance of embracing advanced technology for enhancing railway security efforts. He highlighted the need to overcome challenges through modern technology to improve outcomes and build a positive image.

New Facilities Inaugurated for Staff

As part of his visit, Director General Shri Yadava inaugurated a newly constructed 12-bed Railway Protection Force barrack in Gadag, which cost Rs 71,00,000. This facility will serve as accommodation for Railway Protection Force staff, enhancing their working conditions.

Suraksha Sammelan for SWR Staff

The Suraksha Sammelan organized by DG/Railway Protection Force brought together 120 officers and staff members of Railway Protection Force/SWR at Rail Soudha. During this event, the Director General addressed important aspects like stress management and health discipline. Shri Yadava called for dedicated efforts by Railway Protection Force members to ensure the safety and well-being of railway passengers. He encouraged the use of modern technology to tackle challenges such as manpower shortage and to create a positive impact through efficient work.

Acknowledging SWR’s Achievements

Shri Yadava praised South Western Railway (SWR) for its impressive performance. He commended SWR for rising from the 16th position to the top spot among all railway zones in terms of Key Performance Indices (KPI) in March 2023. Shri Sanjeev Kishore, General Manager of SWR, was applauded for his leadership and initiatives that contributed to this achievement.
