Chennai Feb 18 (City Times): A Faculty Development Program on “Higher Education: A Journey from Pedagogy to Heutagogy” was organized by SIMATS School of Engineering. Dr. J. John Sekar, Research Department of English, The American College, Madurai visited as the resource person discussing on the Importance of Higher Education, Current Global Situation and Hard Facts about HE in India. The faculty participants responded constructively to Dr. John’s briefings on classroom-based research, research-based teaching, and the distinctions between andragogy and heutagogy.
The faculty members of colleges in & around Chennai participated and were benefitted said the organizers.
