Cancellations, Partial Cancellations, and Diversions Implemented from 17th to 23rd July (South Central Railway)
Chennai, 17 July (City Times): South Central Railway has issued a notification regarding changes in the pattern of train services in Vijayawada and Guntakal Divisions due to a corridor block. The alterations will be in effect from 17th July to 23rd July, 2023, affecting several train services.
Cancellation of Train Services:
Train No. 17237 Bitragunta – Dr MGR Chennai Central Express, scheduled to depart from Bitragunta at 04.45 hrs, will be fully cancelled from 17th July to 23rd July, 2023. Similarly, Train No. 17238 Dr MGR Chennai Central – Bitragunta Express, departing from Dr MGR Chennai Central at 16.30 hrs, will also be fully cancelled during the same period. Additionally, Train No. 07581 Tirupati – Katpadi Passenger Special and Train No. 07660 Katpadi – Tirupati Passenger Special will be fully cancelled from 17th July to 23rd July, 2023.
Partial Cancellation of Train Services:
Train No. 06854 Villupuram – Tirupati Intercity Special, departing from Villupuram at 05.30 hrs, will be partially cancelled between Katpadi and Tirupati. The train will be short terminated at Katpadi. Similarly, Train No. 06853 Tirupati – Villupuram Intercity Special, scheduled to depart from Tirupati at 13.50 hrs, will be partially cancelled between Tirupati and Katpadi. The train will commence its service from Katpadi at the scheduled departure time of 16.40 hrs. (South Central Railway)
Diversion of Train Services:
Train No. 13351 Dhanbad – Alappuzha Express, departing from Dhanbad at 11.35 hrs on 18th, 21st, and 22nd July, 2023, will be diverted to run via Nidadavolu, Bhimavaram Town, Gudivada, and Vijayawada. The train will skip stoppages at Tadepalligudem and Eluru. Additionally, Train No. 12835 Hatia – SMVT Bengaluru Superfast Express (Via Katpadi, Jolarpettai) departing from Hatia at 18.25 hrs on 18th July, 2023, and Train No. 12889 Tatanagar – SMVT Bengaluru Superfast Express (via Katpadi, Jolarpettai) departing from Tatanagar at 18.35 hrs on 21st July, 2023, will also be diverted to run via the same route. Furthermore, Train No. 18637 Hatia – SMVT Bengaluru Express (via Katpadi, Jolarpettai) departing from Hatia at 18.25 hrs on 22nd July, 2023, will follow the diverted route. (South Central Railway)
