South Western Railway Will Cater Demand’s Of Passengers Effectively After Extension of Services of These 2 Trains
Bangalore, 26 August (City Times):South Western Railway: In response to a longstanding public demand, the Ministry of Railways has given the green light to extend the operations of Train No. 11139/11140 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai – Gadag – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai Express and Train No. 11305/11306 Solapur – Gadag – Solapur Express up to Hosapete. This extension is set to benefit tourism, as well as MSMEs, farmers, and traders in the Koppal and Hosapete regions.
Inauguration by Dignitaries:
On August 29 the extension of the aforementioned trains will be set in motion with a symbolic flag-off ceremony in Hosapete. Y. Devendrappa, the esteemed Member of Parliament from Ballari, and Karadi Sanganna, the revered Member of Parliament from Koppal, will officiate the event, lending their auspicious presence to mark the beginning of this significant transportation enhancement. The ceremony will witness the participation of other distinguished dignitaries from the region, underscoring the collaborative effort to improve connectivity and convenience for the people.
Enhanced Connectivity for Five Divisions:
With this extension, Train No. 11139/11140 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai – Hosapete – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai Express will commence its journey from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai, starting from August 28, 2023. The train will offer crucial stops at various locations, facilitating smooth travel across the central railway zone.
Timings and Stops:
Departing from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai at 09:20 PM, Train No. 11139 will arrive at Hosapete at 12:45 PM on the next day. In the return journey, Train No. 11140 will depart from Hosapete at 02:00 PM and reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Mumbai at 05:10 AM the next day.
Enhanced Connectivity for Solapur Division:
Additionally, Train No. 11305/11306 Solapur – Hosapete – Solapur Express will start its journey from Solapur, commencing from August 29, 2023. The train will connect various stops along the route, enhancing connectivity for passengers in the Solapur division.
