Chennai,24 August(City Times): Tamil Nadu Helps Himachal Flood Victims: Tamil Nadu Extends Helping Hand to Himachal Flood Victims The state of Himachal Pradesh has been facing severe challenges due to heavy rains, floods, and landslides. In response, the Tamil Nadu government has stepped forward by donating Rs 10 crore to Himachal Pradesh’s disaster relief fund. This significant contribution aims to assist in the recovery efforts amid the ongoing devastation caused by the natural calamities.
Himachal Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu expressed his gratitude to Tamil Nadu’s Chief Minister MK Stalin for this generous gesture. He emphasized the importance of such contributions during times of crisis, as they play a crucial role in supporting those in need.
Sukhu also called upon the public to come forward and generously contribute to the relief fund. The collective efforts of individuals and governments can make a substantial difference in providing relief to the affected families. Notably, Karnataka, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh have also contributed Rs 41 crore to help Himachal Pradesh recover from the aftermath of heavy rains and flooding.
