Home Minister Amit Shah Praises PM Modi for Energizing India’s Space Mission
Shah Targets Rajasthan CM Gehlot Over “Red Diary” Claims
Gangapur (Rajasthan) [India], August 26 (ANI): Home Minister Amit Shah lauded Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday, attributing to him a surge of “new speed and energy” in India’s space exploration, culminating in the historic landing on the moon’s south pole. Shah also took aim at Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot over allegations made by dismissed minister Rajendra Gudha concerning a “red diary.”
PM Modi’s Remarkable Contribution to Space Exploration
Amit Shah expressed his admiration for PM Modi’s leadership, crediting him for injecting vigor and dynamism into India’s space mission. He highlighted the momentous achievement of Chandrayaan-3 landing on the South Pole of the moon, an accomplishment that has reinvigorated the nation and instilled a fresh sense of confidence.
Shah also made a pointed remark directed at those who raised slogans during the program, suggesting that rather than raising slogans, if they had actively supported Chandrayaan’s mission, they wouldn’t find themselves resorting to slogans now.
Accusations Against Rajasthan CM Gehlot
Turning his attention to Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, Amit Shah raised questions about the “red diary” and accused the Congress government in Rajasthan of involvement in corrupt practices. He insinuated that Gehlot’s apprehension about the “red diary” stemmed from the clandestine misdeeds it contained, involving corruption worth millions.
The controversy surrounding the “red diary” emerged when Rajendra Gudha, a dismissed minister, alleged that he had retrieved it from the residence of Gehlot’s aide, Rathore. In response, Gehlot labeled the BJP’s allegations as baseless and asserted that Gudha was being used as a scapegoat by the opposition party.
Upcoming Elections in Rajasthan
Rajasthan is one of the five states scheduled to hold assembly elections later this year, alongside Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Telangana, and Mizoram. The BJP is gearing up for four ‘Parivartan Yatras’ (Transformation Marches) in the state next month as part of its election campaign.
