New Delhi, 17 September (City Times): PM Vishwakarma Scheme : In a significant move to support and uplift artists and crafts persons in India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has unveiled the ‘PM Vishwakarma’ scheme. During the launch event, the Prime Minister announced that the Union government is allocating a whopping ₹13,000 crores for this initiative. This scheme aims to be a beacon of hope for artisans and crafts persons across the nation.

Access to Low-Interest Loans
PM Modi also emphasized the financial support provided through this scheme. Beneficiaries can access loans of up to ₹3 lakhs without the need for a bank guarantee. Moreover, the interest rates on these loans will be maintained at a low level.
