Saharanpur / Shamli / Amroha, April 24 (CITY TIMES): On the first day of the municipal election campaign in Uttar Pradesh on Monday, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath attacked the mafia.

He also drew attention to the strong law and order situation of the state, stating that there were no curfew and no riots and that all was well in UP. He said that today there are no people left to shed even two tears on the mafia in UP.
In UP, the mafia has been sent to the abyss, the CM said. CM Yogi appealed to the public during the public meeting that to give the speed of bullet train to the development in the state, along with the power of the double engine, the triple engine of the municipal bodies will also have to be added.
No curfew, no riots, all is well in UP: CM Yogi
The election rally was kicked off by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath from Maharaj Singh Degree College ground on Janta Road in Saharanpur. He said that today there was no curfew, no riots in UP and everything was fine there.
He said that extortion and ransom for kidnappings no longer took place in the state and that UP was no longer a family’s inheritance. Apart from this, mafias and criminals have become a thing of the past in UP.
UP has become a symbol of security, prosperity and employment, he added. The Chief Minister said that now UP is not recognized for the curfew, but for the Kanwar Yatra. ” our identity is not of nuisance, but of festivals. This is not a land of mafia, but of festivals. Now it is up to us to decide whether there should be terror in our cities or we should make it a safe city. We want to see pistol or tablet-smartphone in the hands of the youth”, CM Yogi renarked further.
Now there are no people even to shed two drops of tears on the mafia: CM
CM Yogi said in Shamli that the mafia-criminals that used to threaten people have gone missing now and no one is there to shed even a drop of tears for them. “I am not speaking further because if I say something, it may not happen. Don’t know where the extortionists have gone. Those who impose curfew will also come among you to ask for votes, but do not pay attention to them”, CM said.
The CM appealed to people to remember that Shamli’s youths are also being employed through recruitments going on in the state, but before 2017, youths of Shamli and Muzaffarnagar were denied such opportunities.
“Remember what was the condition of Shamli six years ago-migration from Kairana and Kandhla, the Gundaraj, riots, lack of basic facilities, no job for the youth, no safety of traders and most of them were victims of extortions. Besides, people of 71 out of 75 districts lived in darkness. Today the daughters say that when Baba is the Chief Minister there is no need for them to feal afraid at all. This belief is our strength”, CM Yogi further pointed out.
We drove the mafia into the abyss by playing the drum: Yogi
In Amroha, the Chief Minister said that the vision of Prime Minister Narendra Modi is the mission of UP. Under this, development works are being done in the entire state. Very soon Amroha is going to become a district connected by two expressways. “We have given the status of state fair to the Tigri fair here. Now Amroha has become a land of festivals and not of hooligans and criminals. The people of Amroha have elevated their ancient art of playing dholak, and we have sent the mafia into the abyss by playing the dholak. This has become possible when the works of development and law and order are being carried forward with the power of double engine. Now the time has come when this journey should be taken forward with the speed of bullet train by adding the triple engine of the civic body”, CM Yogi said.
CN said thar there was no dearth of money for development today. “I have come to appeal to you that the money that comes from Delhi and Lucknow should be useful for the poor and the youth”, Yogi concluded.
